Howard Anthony Residence (1949), Benton Harbor, Michigan


The Howard Anthony Residence was constructed in 1949. The house employs a diamond-shaped module and sits high above the right bank of the St. Joseph River. It is constructed of stone complemented by cypress and has a roof of cedar shingles. This is one of the few houses designed by Wright that includes a courtyard for cars.
